Rossco Photography

I have always, from the time I could first draw a picture, had a fascination with the effects of light and shade on an object. I worked as a graphic designer/commercial artist before deciding photography was what I was really passionate about. I started ROSSCO Photography in 1983 and have since had the good fortune to work locally, interstate and overseas with a large range of clients and an even larger range of subjects as you will see on the following pages.

I believe that photography is an art form and, as with any art form, the final images’ effect on the viewer is completely subjective. I do not subscribe to the theory that there is a right or wrong way to photograph anything – the challenge is to know your client, to be versatile for each different client, and to capture an image that the client and I feel is both visually stimulating and sells the product which, after all is the point of commercial photography – a point which I feel is sometimes forgotten in this industry.

Below is one of many similar testimonials I have from clients - it appeared in a magazine Sept. 01.

“In South Australia Ross Williams continues to go beyond the call of duty to provide not only superb images of the states most outstanding country style homes – but also extends himself to tracking down properties to showcase within our pages. It is my hope that I may procure the services of similar professionals in other states.” Rick Rutherford – Author / editor Aust. Country Collections.

Enjoy the images. Ross Williams.
